Only "authorised" visitors may visit the accused in prison. To get authorised, you must fill out a registration form for the prison and mail it to the prison accompanied by a photocopy of photo id (your drivers liscence or passport). It will take approximately 5-7 working days before you get a response. If you are currenlty on bail (i.e. awaiting a status hearing/defended hearing) or if you have had a conviction in the past two years you may be unable to get authorised.
